Day 9, Thurs Aug 30, 2007

Visit to the Tanque Verde Ranch!! This was the best day! We got to go horseback riding into the mountains that led us to a Cowboy breakfast!! When we came back down the mountain, we were off to our second challenge-horse shoe competition. Of course, I didn't win, but Mrs. IN did!! Later that day, we did the scavenger hunt challenge, with Mrs. Vermont, Mrs. New Jersey, Mrs. Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Massachusetts winning. Later we were back to rehearsal!

Day 8, Wed Aug 29, 2007

MEXICO!!!!! We spent the whole day in the town of Nogales in Mexico! When we arrived, there were paparazzi and news stations everywhere!! We then went to lunch and were entertained by a mariachi band and met the Mayor of Nogales. I had a little time to shop (not enough though!!) and then went to an awesome ranch on the outside of town where we painted Ostrich egss.....look close mine is a penguin!!!

Day 7, Tues Aug 28, 2007

Today was another eventful day!! We had a diaper changing competition today! I knew I should have been practicing on Kaydence!! We then had a fabulous dinner at Pastiche where we got to meet the reigning Mrs. America!

Day 6, Mon 8/27/07

Today was Old West Day!! We went to Old Tucson Movie Studio and had a blast!! We watched performances and toured the Studio were many westerns were made (and are still being made), with actors such as John Wayne. We then had more rehearsals and tomorrow we will begin the contests!!

Day 5, Sun 8/26/07

Well, it was another exciting, but tragic day. On the way to rehearsal today, Mrs. TN was bitten by a baby rattlesnake. She's ok, but it was very scary for her and I am wishing her a speedy recovery! We also went to Pima Air and Space Museum, which was a lot of fun!

Day 2, Thurs 8/23/07

Our second day was hectic as well!! 7 am we were out walking a mile and a half to The Greenes at Venatna Canyon, where we all had a catered breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, eggs, bagels and even a smoothie station!! We then split up in to groups and enjoyed diffreent activities. I choose the animal showase from the AZ zoo! Check out the pic of the cute hedgehog. I wanted to put him in my bag and bring him home. On the way back we saw a bit of natural AZ wildlife, a baby rattle snake, EWW!! We had the rest of the day off while the production company interviewed us trying to "get the scoop". We met our choreographers Frit and Frat from MTV from 7 pm - 10 pm (which is 1 am Ohio time) Our opening number is set to the song "Smack That". Should be fun!

HELLO!!! Wed 8/22/07

Hello there from Tuscon! This is my blog and I hope you enjoy it! We have had a few really hectic days here. I arrived on the 22nd. I met Mrs. Wyoming, Kelly McBee, on the way to the resort. Upon arriving, I met Mrs. Arizona! What a doll! We hung out by the pool (until we started to melt) and then had a nice lunch at the Canyon Cafe inside the resort. We had our 1st formal dinner that evening where I met all of the other fantastic delegates. To top off the fist night I met Mrs. World Diane Tucker! LOVE HER!!
